Another FREDDIE AWARD for Marx

For the second year, Marx Creative has been recognized by the FREDDIE Awards, www.thefreddies.com, the prestigious worldwide awards recognizing outstanding International Health and Medical Media. In 2007, Marx won a FREDDIE for our work on www.ChefMD.com, a detailed site for ChefMD® featuring healthy recipes, information about culimary medicine and video clips of Dr. John La Puma showing health-conscious consumers how to choose foods like a doctor and prepare them like a chef.

This year, Marx has won another FREDDIE; this time in the category of Caregiving. Our "Caregivers" segments feature famed television personality Leeza Gibbons, herself a caregiver of many years. The segments appear weekly as part of our nationally televised show, Health Corner (www.healthcornertv.com).

Marx was also named a 2008 FREDDIE Finalist in the category of Nutrition and Diet for our "What's Cookin' with ChefMD" segments on Health Corner. Again, a series produced by Marx and airing on Lifetime Television.

FREDDIE finalists come from all over the United States, Canada, Europe and places as far away as Australia. Entrants include such heavy-hitters as CNN, NBC News, Harvard Medical School and Johnson & Johnson.

With these two awards, Marx becomes the only healthcare media producer in Wisconsin to be recognized not just once, but twice by FREDDIE.
