Walgreens chose Marx Creative as series producer of Health Corner in 2005. The 30-minute "health infotainment" show focuses on issues important to women – improving health and well being, healthy lifestyles, looking and feeling great, and raising healthy families. Every episode makes viewers stop and say, "I didn't know that!" and walk away with meaningful information, as well as fascinating stories of hope and inspiration. For season six in 2009, Joan Lunden joined the show as host.
Health Corner airs Sundays on Lifetime: 9:30 a.m. Eastern and Pacific, 8:30 a.m. Central and 10:30 a.m. Mountain. The series is a bold move in branding communications, an effort to differentiate Walgreens from its competitors, bond current customers to the brand, and attract new ones is the important "sandwich generation" demo.
