Johnson & Johnson/Walgreens Tylenol Co-Brand

Walgreens presented Marx Creative with a challenge—to find a way to present a cobranded message that will encourage consumers to choose Walgreens when purchasing Tylenol products. This commercial is a unique hybrid, that uses real life as the inspiration for highlighting the pain relieving qualities of both Tylenol and other "feel better" products available at Walgreens.

Medicare Part B Diabetes Testing Supplies

Walgreens introduced a new direct mail service for customers who have diabetes and are covered by Medicare Part B. They turned to Marx Creative to produce a direct response style broadcast commercial to target new customers, and to inform current customers that they have a new option.

Zyrtec Allergy Medicine OTC Introduction

Previously available only by prescription, Zyrtec was approved for over-the-counter in 2007. Walgreens turned to Marx to create and execute a co-branding campaign to position their 6,000 stores as the place to go to purchase Zyrtec. Shot on film in both standard and HD formats. The 30-second spot began airing in January 2008.

Ready Response Medical Alert System
Direct Response Campaign

Walgreens introduced a new service and turned to Marx Creative to develop a direct response campaign to sell it. Ready Response is an in-home emergency contact system. Instead of focusing on the end user, the commercial was designed to appeal to the adult child of an aging parent. Results from the commercial have been positive, with an increase in calls and orders received.

Printer Cartridge Refill Service
Free Day Promotion

"Prescriptions aren't the only things Walgreens refills." Marx produced a 60-second commercial for Walgreens to launch the introduction of printer cartridge refill services at stores nationwide. To encourage consumers to try the service, a special offer for one free refill was offered in September 2007. Positive results from this promotion have prompted Walgreens to offer a free refill day again in 2008.
