Health Corner
Walgreens chose Marx Creative as series producer of Health Corner in 2005. The 30-minute "health infotainment" show focuses on issues important to women – improving health and well being, healthy lifestyles, looking and feeling great, and raising healthy families. Every episode makes viewers stop and say, "I didn’t know that!" and walk away with meaningful information, as well as fascinating stories of hope and inspiration. For season six in 2009, Joan Lunden joined the show as host.
Health Corner airs Sundays on Lifetime: 9:30 a.m. Eastern and Pacific, 8:30 a.m. Central and 10:30 a.m. Mountain. The series is a bold move in branding communications, an effort to differentiate Walgreens from its competitors, bond current customers to the brand, and attract new ones is the important "sandwich generation" demo. Job Connection/Hiring Network
This weekly television program was a high prestige vehicle that got job seekers to contact the sponsoring companies and drove viewers to the accompanying website. By participating in the TV show, companies received a corporate spotlight segment devoted to their facilities and their benefits, with cameos of current employees and specific available job descriptions.
Recipes of America
Taste the seafood from Fisherman's Wharf or savor the Cajun cooking of Bourbon Street. Delight in New York's finest cuisine. Recipes of America visited restaurants from coast to coast, gathering delicious recipes. Back in the studio, dishes were reproduced for the viewer. Our intrepid hosts taught the viewer to cook America's finest dishes in this charming 1/2 hour series.
From The Heartland
It's not a place, it's a state of mind. A fast paced 1/2 hour home show hosted by Carol Koby is packed with tips and secrets. From the Heartland featured recipes, gardening, home art, decorating ideas and health news all in a simple how-to format. Viewers are invited to be good neighbors and contribute their ideas, making them active participants in the process of creating the show. Wherever viewers call home, they'll love From The Heartland.
Builders Showcase Television
Builders Showcase Television is a half hour program which features exciting video tours, both inside and out, of fine model homes. The show is designed for new home shoppers. Special segments are dedicated to new home financing, builder interviews, interior decorating tips and more. This weekly show is supplemented by a monthly free guide for new home shoppers.
